PSA/Peugeot-Citroen to sign Russia plant deal

PARIS, Jan 29 (Reuters) -- French carmaker PSA/Peugeot-Citroen will sign an agreement today to build an assembly plant at Kaluga in Russia, a press department assistant said.

She could not confirm reports in Russian media that the French firm would invest 300 million euros.

Russian news agencies said the plant would make 75,000 cars per year from 2010 and employ 2,600 people.

PSA said in December it had selected Kaluga as its site, over Nizhny Novgorod
